Clach Bhan

In Stratha'an ther is a mountain known as Clach Bhan or Stone of Women. Traditionally, pregnant women would travel to the pool and sit in the cold waters here to ensure an easy labour and birth. There are more recent additions to the folktale that say the women sat in the potholes on the road of the mountain.
