Fairy in a Jar

 When a human catches a fairy, it makes sense that they would ask for a wish. Big Meg of Ruthven caught a fairy in a jar while it was washing their clothes. The fairy asked for its freedom in return for three wishes. Meg, who had three daughters, asked for three sons. The fairy granted her wish and Meg bore seven exceptionally brilliant sons.
