Lochan Uaine
It is said that the reason the lochan has such a magical green colour due to the fairies that wash their clothes in the water. It is advised to not swim in the waters as the fairies will whisk you away.
The deer within the area of Lochan Uaine are said to belong to the fairies. These deer were milked by the fairies and have been nicknamed 'fairy cattle'.
