Soldier's Leap

The Soldier’s Leap, near Killiecrankie, is a gorge over the River Garry 18.5ft wide that was leapt by a government soldier, Donald MacBean, after the Battle of Killiecrankie to avoid death at the hands of the pursuing Jacobite soldiers.
